‘t Kristallijn Private Museum

‘t Kristallijn in Mol is a private museum set within a 39,550 square metre semi-public park. Designed in 2000, the landscape creates a setting that serves both the museum and the surrounding community.

The park combines formal garden areas around the museum with more open parkland accessible to the public. Tree avenues, structured hedging, and generous lawns create a varied landscape that provides different experiences throughout.
The design balances the private character of the museum grounds with the openness required for public access, using subtle planting and level changes to define boundaries without creating barriers.

‘t Kristallijn demonstrates how landscape design can create a seamless transition between private cultural spaces and public parkland.
