Private Garden Boechout
2012–2014
Boechout, Belgium

This compact private garden in Boechout measures just 515 square metres yet includes a natural swimming pond. Designed between 2012 and 2014, it maximises every centimetre of the site.

The design creates a surprising sense of space through carefully layered planting and the reflective surface of the swimming pond. Clipped hedges structure the garden into functional zones while maintaining visual openness.
The natural pool integrates seamlessly into the garden composition, serving as both a swimming area and an ornamental water feature.

The Boechout garden shows how thoughtful design can pack a remarkable amount of function and beauty into a very small urban plot.
