Private Garden Berlaar

This private garden in Berlaar features an elegant 3,900 square metre landscape centred around an oval lawn. Designed between 2005 and 2006, the garden creates a sense of spaciousness and calm.

The oval lawn is the centrepiece, framed by structured hedging and mature tree plantings that give the garden a sense of enclosure. The gentle geometry creates a natural flow through the space.

The design balances open lawn areas with densely planted borders, creating visual depth and providing habitat for wildlife.

The Berlaar garden demonstrates how a single strong design gesture – the oval lawn – can give a private garden a memorable identity.
