Plac Europejski – Warsaw Spire
2014–2016
Warsaw, Poland

Plac Europejski at the Warsaw Spire is a 21,000 square metre public square in the heart of Warsaw. Designed between 2014 and 2016, it creates a vibrant civic space at the base of one of Poland’s tallest office towers.

The design combines formal garden elements with contemporary urban landscape, featuring structured hedges, tree groves, and water features that animate the plaza. The green spaces provide relief from the surrounding urban density.
The square has become one of Warsaw’s most popular public spaces, hosting events and providing daily enjoyment for office workers, residents, and visitors alike.

Plac Europejski demonstrates how landscape architecture can create compelling public spaces within high-rise commercial developments.
