Art Gallery 'De Ziener'
2007
Asse, Belgium
Art Gallery 'De Ziener' in Asse is surrounded by a carefully composed garden that complements the gallery's contemporary art programme. The landscape design creates a formal setting that extends the gallery experience into the outdoors.
The design employs rectangular hedges and clean geometric forms to create a series of outdoor rooms. The restrained palette of green hedging and lawn provides a neutral backdrop that allows both the architecture and the art to take centre stage.
The compact garden demonstrates how even a modest site can be transformed through precise design into a space of clarity and elegance.
