The former Vander Elst cigar factory in Leuven was renovated by Jaspers-Eyers Architects, with old sheds and warehouses transformed into offices, residential units, cafés and restaurants, shopping venues and public gardens. Wirtz designed an emphasizing environment comfortable to inhabitants and attractive to visitors.
